      Introduction / motivation phase

      I’ll tell the students what we are going to do today. I’ll put the song texts in the front.

      I’ll give them the instructions for the exercises with the songs.

      I’ll put them in groups of three or four people.

      They receive the IPad and can start with the tasks.

      Tasks:

      1. Listen to the song once.
      2. Listen again and try to fill in the gaps in the song text.
      3. Mark every “if” in the song text red.
      4. Mark every part of each conditional in one colour.

      (For 3. And 4. à colour coding like it said on the sheet)

      1. Compare your results with the solution (in the front)

      Information phase

      I’ll show the students a short video about the conditionals to give them a introduction to the new grammar structure.

       

       

      I’ll hand out the grammar sheet with the tree types of the conditionals.
